One Beggar’s Bread

A silly beggar girl shares the latest scraps she is digging through: some nourishing tidbits, a few tasty morsels and a bit of dining a la dumpster…!

About Me

I am a thirty-something wife of the most handsome man on the planet (we’ve been married for almost 14 years now!), mama of three boys under 10, and daughter of the King of Kings.

my honey and me

Realizing that life is much shorter than I can anticipate, this year is one I will spend purposefully slowing down and focusing on the greatest treasures and high calling God has sent my way – being an encouraging helper to my husband in his ministry of arrow fashioning and in our new home business. I am purposing to slow down and smell all the divine appointments the Lord sends my way, focusing on home and hospitality.

Dad and Boys

I have a passion for writing, but haven’t much of natural talent. In the past few years, I have come to realize how much can be accomplished through good ‘ol fashioned hard work, even sans natural talent! This blog will be a place to practice my writing skills, and hopefully greatly improve them over time…

Up a Tree

At times, my mind and heart ache from all the thoughts and feelings churning and jumbling around inside, and I feel all tied up in knots. I am hoping this blog will provide a dumpstation for my overfull brain, allowing me to lighten up and fully enjoy these short days with my family and friends.

I stumbled helplessly onto your blog and truly believe it was a divine appointment. I am of those people searching vas regret…with a heavy heart. I would have preferred to email you privately, but couldn’t locate you’re email address on your site. I would love to ask you a couple of questions. Thanks for your post on the topic.

I was searching for info on the Fox Faith “free Direct Tv movie screening” deal that was offered to our church (and many others). I was considering it but wanted to do some homework on it before asking our Pastor to have it installed at our Parish Hall. Have you heard of anyone getting it and/or if it’s on the level.
